Following and your feed
Jambo is more fun with friends. Follow people to see which events they're interested in and the photos they post, so you never miss out on plans.
Finding people
- Tap the Feed tab (the middle icon at the bottom of the screen)
- Tap the search icon in the top right
- Type a name or @username
Tap someone in the results to open their profile.
You can also find people through events: on an event's page, tap See All next to the people who are interested.
Following someone
On a person's profile, tap Follow. Tap Following to unfollow them.
If their account is private, the button says Request instead. Once you tap it, it changes to Requested until they accept. You'll see their events and activity after they accept your request. Tap Requested to cancel your request.
To see who someone follows, or who follows them, tap Following or Followers on their profile.
Want to approve who follows you? Turn on Private Account in your settings. See the Profile and settings guide.
Your feed
The Feed tab shows what the people you follow are up to.
Upcoming Events
At the top, Upcoming Events shows events that people you follow are interested in. Under each event you'll see who's interested. Tap that line to see everyone you follow who's interested in it.
Activity
Below that, Activity shows a timeline from the people you follow:
- Interested in an event.: someone marked an event as interested
- Posted a photo to...: someone posted a photo to an event
Tap a person's name or picture to see their profile, or tap the event to see its page. Pull down to refresh.
If your feed is empty, you aren't following anyone yet, or the people you follow haven't been active. Use the search to find your friends.
Posting photos to events
Share your best moments from an event by posting a photo to it. Your photo appears:
- In the event's Activity, under All Activity
- In the Activity section of your profile
- In the feeds of people who follow you
Post a photo
- Open the event's page
- Tap the camera button (labeled New Post when the event isn't selling tickets on Jambo)
- Tap a photo under Recent photos, then tap Post Photo. To pick from your whole library instead, tap the arrow next to Recent photos.
- Crop the photo and confirm. Your photo is posted right away.
You can post photos from the time the event starts until 24 hours after it ends. If you try before the event starts, you'll see This event hasn't started yet.
Photos must be JPEG or PNG. The first time you post, the app asks for permission to access your photos. If you denied it, tap Open Settings to turn it on.
Delete a photo you posted
- Press and hold the photo
- Tap Delete
- Tap Delete again to confirm
