Blocking and reporting
If someone is bothering you, or you see something that doesn't belong on Jambo, you can block the person, report them, or both.
Blocking someone
Block someone when you don't want them to see your profile or follow you.
- Open the person's profile
- Tap the ⋮ icon in the top right
- Tap Block
- Tap Block again to confirm
When you block someone:
- You stop following each other
- Neither of you can follow the other
- They can't see your profile, your upcoming events, or your activity
- You won't appear when they look at who's interested in an event
Jambo doesn't send them a notification that you blocked them.
Unblocking someone
You can unblock someone in either of these places:
- On their profile, tap the ⋮ icon, then tap Unblock
- In your settings, under Privacy Settings, tap View Blocked People. Tap the Blocked button next to the person to unblock them. Tap it again if you change your mind.
Unblocking doesn't restore your follows. If you want to follow each other again, you'll each need to follow again.
Reporting a person
- Open the person's profile
- Tap the ⋮ icon in the top right
- Tap Report
- Choose a reason
Reporting a photo
- Press and hold the photo
- Tap Report
- Choose a reason
Report reasons
When you report a person or a photo, choose the reason that fits best:
- Offensive Content
- Spam
- Nudity or Sexual Activity
- Harassment
- Violence
You'll see Your report has been sent. once it's submitted. We review every report and take action on the content or the person who posted it as needed.
Reporting doesn't block the person. To stop them from following you or seeing your profile, block them too.
If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
If you have a safety concern that a report doesn't cover, email [email protected].
