Signing up for the Dash
The Jambo Dash is the web dashboard where you create and manage your events, hosts, ticketing, team, and payouts. You'll find it at dash.jambo.app.
Your Dash account is separate from the Jambo app. The app is where people find events, buy tickets, and scan tickets at the door. The Dash is where organizers run things behind the scenes.
Creating an account
- Go to dash.jambo.app
- Click Create one at the bottom of the login form
- Choose how you want to sign up:
- With Google: click Continue with Google and pick your Google account.
- With email: fill in your E-mail address, Confirm e-mail address, Your name, and Password, then click Create account.
Your password must be at least 8 characters and include a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, and a number.
If you see This email is already taken. Try logging in instead., you already have a Dash account with that email. Click Log in and sign in instead.
What happens next
Once your account is created, the Dash opens the getting-started checklist. The first step is creating your organization, which is your team's home in the Dash. See the Creating an organization and Getting started checklist guides.
If your team is already on Jambo, don't create a new organization. Ask the owner of your existing organization to invite you instead. See Accepting a team invite below.
Logging in
- Go to dash.jambo.app
- Either click Continue with Google, or enter your E-mail address and Password and click Login
Use the same method you signed up with. If you signed up with Google, log in with Continue with Google.
To log out, click your name in the top right corner and choose Log Out.
Forgot your password?
- On the login page, click Forgot password?
- Enter your E-mail address and click Reset
- Check your inbox for an email titled Reset your Jambo Dash password and click Reset Password
- Enter your New Password and Confirm New Password, then click Continue
You'll be taken back to the login page to sign in with your new password.
The reset link expires after 1 hour. If you see This link is invalid or has expired, go back to Forgot password? and request a new one.
Accepting a team invite
When someone on your team invites you to their organization, you'll get an email titled You've been invited to join [organization name] on Jambo.
- Open the email and click Accept Invitation
- If you aren't logged in, you'll be taken to the login page. Log in, or click Create one to make a new account
- Once you're signed in, the invitation is accepted automatically. You'll see You're in! and be taken to the Dash
You must sign in with the same email address the invite was sent to. If you sign in with a different email, or with a Google account that uses a different email, the invite won't work.
Invitations expire after 48 hours. If yours has expired, ask the person who invited you to resend it from the Team page, then use the link in the newest email.
If the invite doesn't work
If you see Invitation failed, the message underneath tells you why:
- This invitation has expired. Ask for a new invite.
- This invitation could not be found. The invite may have been cancelled. Ask for a new one.
- You are already a member of this organization. You're already on the team. Just log in.
- This invitation was sent to a different email address. Log out, then open the link again and sign in with the email address the invite was sent to.
