Event posts
Every event on Jambo has an activity feed where you and your attendees can share photos and updates. Use the Posts tab in the Jambo Dash to post as your host and to see what attendees are sharing.
Posts are a great way to build excitement before the event and keep the energy going after it. For example, you could:
- Share the lineup or a sneak peek of the setup
- Post an update about parking, weather or a schedule change
- Share photos from the night once it's over
Where posts show up
Posts appear in the Activity section of your event's page in the Jambo app. Attendees can switch between All Activity and Host Activity to see only your posts.
Your posts appear under your host's name and picture.
Posts don't send a notification. To make sure people see something important, send a message as well. See the Messaging attendees guide.
Create a post
- Open your event in the Jambo Dash and go to the Posts tab
- Under Host Posts, click New
- Choose the Image tab or the Text tab:
- Image: click the image box to upload a picture or choose one from the library
- Text: write your update, up to 170 characters
- Click Create
Each post is either one image or text, not both. To share a photo with a caption, create two posts.
You can post at any time, before, during or after the event, until the event is finalized.
Delete a post
- On the Posts tab, find the post under Host Posts
- Click the trash icon on the post
- Click Delete to confirm
The post is removed from the event right away. This can't be undone.
Attendee posts
Attendees can post photos to your event from the Jambo app by tapping New Post on the event's page. They can post once the event has started, until one day after it ends.
You'll find everything they've shared under User Posts on the Posts tab, along with each person's username.
You can't delete attendee posts from the Dash. If a post is inappropriate, report it from the Jambo app, or contact us at [email protected].
