Creating an account
Your Jambo account is tied to your phone number. There's no password to remember: each time you sign in, Jambo texts you a code.
The same account works in the Jambo app and on the Jambo website, so tickets you get in one place show up in the other.
Jambo currently supports US phone numbers only.
Sign up in the app
First, download the Jambo app. You need an account to use the app.
- Tap Continue with Phone Number
- Enter your phone number and tap Next
- Enter the verification code we texted you. If it doesn't arrive, wait for the timer and tap Resend
- On the Set up your account screen, fill in:
- Display Name: the name other people see on Jambo. You can change it later.
- Username: your unique @handle. Jambo suggests one based on your display name, but you can type your own.
- Email: where we send your ticket confirmations.
- Tap Finish
If you already have an account, entering your phone number and verification code signs you straight in.
If you opened an event link before signing up, the app takes you to that event as soon as your account is ready.
Sign up on the website
You can also create an account on jambo.app while buying tickets or viewing an event.
- Click Login or create account in the top right (on a phone, it says Log in), or start getting tickets for an event
- Enter your phone number
- Enter the verification code we texted you
- Fill in your display name, username, and email
- Click Create Account
Username rules
Usernames can be up to 26 characters and can only contain letters, numbers, periods, and underscores. They also can't:
- Start or end with a period
- Have two periods in a row
- Be only numbers or only underscores
Tickets waiting for you
If an event organizer gave you tickets using your phone number before you had an account, they're waiting for you. As soon as you sign up with that phone number, the tickets are added to your account. For more on finding them, see the Your tickets guide.
