Event overview
The Overview tab is the first thing you see when you open an event in the Jambo Dash. It shows how your event is doing at a glance: how many people are coming, how much you've sold, and where the money goes.
Event summary
The top card shows your event's name, date and time (in the venue's timezone), length, host and venue, how many people are interested, and the start of the description. A lock icon means the event is private.
Click the pencil icon to edit the event's details. See the Creating an event guide.
Metrics
Ticket Sales
Gross ticket sales, after refunds. This is the total value of the tickets sold, before it's divided between you, your pay-split partners and promoters.
Your Earnings
Your share of ticket sales after pay splits and promoter commissions are taken out. This is what your organization will be paid.
Promoter Payouts
The total commission earned by Jambo Promoters who sold tickets to your event through their links. See the Jambo Promoter guide.
Jambo Kickback
This card only appears if your event qualifies for Jambo's new-organizer promotion. It shows the 50% of Jambo's service fee that's paid back to you.
Tickets Sold
The number of tickets issued for the event. This includes complimentary tickets. Refunded tickets are currently still included in this count. Click the card to see who has them on the Attendees tab.
Interested
The number of people who've tapped Interested on your event in the Jambo app. Anyone who gets a ticket is counted as interested automatically. These are the people who receive messages sent to All Interested. Click the card to see them on the Attendees tab. See the Messaging attendees guide.
Financial Breakdown
Where the money goes
A step-by-step view of how your ticket sales are divided:
- Ticket sales: the gross total from the Ticket Sales card
- Promotions: commission paid to promoters at the time of purchase
- Pay-split partners: money owed to partners you've added on your ticket types. It's held until the event finalizes, then paid out.
- Your earnings: what's left for you
- Jambo kickback: shown only if your event qualifies for the new-organizer promotion
Account Status
Shows where your event is in its money timeline:
- Pre-Event: the event hasn't ended yet. Funds are held in your event's account until 3 days after the event ends.
- Post-Event: the event is over and funds are being processed. You have until 3 days after the event ends to finalize any refunds.
- Finalized: your earnings and any pay splits have been paid out, and the event can no longer be edited.
Available now
The money currently held in your event's account, split between Your earnings and Pay splits (held).
This money stays in the account so refunds can be covered. It's released to bank accounts when the event finalizes.
Promoter commissions are paid out when tickets are bought, so they aren't part of Available now.
